MERRILLVILLE – White Lodging and REI Real Estate Services Inc. have begun construction on a 172-room Hyatt Place hotel in Bloomington. It is scheduled to open in July 2014.
The seven-story hotel will have 4,448 square feet of meeting space and a two-level parking garage with room for 124 cars.
Hyatt Place was launched in 2006. REI Real Estate Services of Carmel was founded in 1994. White Lodging, based in Merrillville, operates 161 hotels in 20 states.
